Well it was worth the wait! Many of you were disappointed to hear the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge would close in April to begin it’s face lift and many of us were looking forward to the renovation. Nine months just seemed a bit to long to wait for something that really didn’t seem to need updating. Well the wait is over and things just got better. I spent the evening attending the wonderful grand opening celebration for the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge. It was a night offering many reasons to celebrate. We toasted with champagne and cocktails and savored in Chef Zane’s culinary sensations. Everyone was there to welcome us and show off what we have been waiting for. The service as always was impeccable and I left with my curiosity satisfied as well as my appetite.
Let me tell you what you have to look forward to…Sixteen new treatment rooms, four pedicure bowls, four manicure stations, on-site make-up specialists, hair stylists, hot tub, cold tubs, relaxation rooms the list goes on and on. Stein Eriksen Lodge is already one of my favorite places but this just tops everything. Brides are able to enjoy a wonderful getting ready area after having their hair and make up done by one of their talented stylists. I have a word of advice, If you’re smart you’ll stay one extra day and after your wedding weekend has come to a close treat yourself before you take off on your honeymoon with a couples massage in the amazing couples treatment room. Then spend the rest of the day lounging at their outdoor swimming pool because it now offers 2000 square feet of additional deck space and an outdoor fireplace to cozy up to at night. On a summer day, relax by the pool, enjoy the sun, and plan to stay all day. Chef Zane’s fabulous menu is available poolside. A culinary experience while you relax; what could be better? The pool area also has a hot tub. Tonight everything was steaming up with excitement. For you die hards the fitness center has expanded too. There are plenty of exercise equipment for everyone to get their work out. Day passes are also available for locals so you might want to think about booking a spa day even if you don’t have plans to stay the night. But you might want to pack an overnight bag just in case…you may never want to leave. Take a look at the renovation for yourself! Congratulations Stein Eriksen Lodge and thank you for a great party.
