Amsale | White Couture Designer Bridal & Tuxedo

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Be sure to catch the Premier of When in Rome tonight at Megaplex 12 at the Gateway Center.  Tonight’s premier begins at 7:00 pm.  When in Rome features 4 AMSALE gowns all available at White Couture.  When in Rome is about an ambitious young New Yorker disillusioned with romance, takes a whirlwind trip to Rome where she defiantly plucks magic conins from a fountain of love, inexplicably igniting the passion of an odd group of suitors.  But when a charming reporter pursues her with equal zest, how will she know if his love is the real thing?  WHEN IN ROME is rated PG-13 and opens nationwide tonight!

Over the years AMSALE has become the couture designer of choice for numerous films and television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, The Hangover, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and many more.  Every Hollywood celebrity is contacting AMSALE for her couture gown.  Whether you’re planning a destination wedding in “Rome” or a backyard wedding, Amsale’s timeless designs will be a sure fit for your dream wedding.

Schedule your gown fitting at White Couture and check out these fabulous gowns!  (435) 655-3180

The St. Regis arrival is as grand as the hotel itself!

The St. Regis arrival is as grand as the hotel itself!

The St Regis Deer Crest property celebrated their opening “The Debut of a Legend” this week!  This stunning property sits on top of the beautiful Deer Valley mountain.  The decks offer views of the entire area, while the decor is contemporary.  Guests of the debut had the opportunity to tour the hotel inside and out.  They were greeted at the Snow Park entrance and escorted up the funicular.  Upon arrival, guests were invited for an apres ski social in the St. Regis bar where I hear you’ll find the “best tasting bloody mary ever”.  Then it was a look at the elegant wine vault (one of my favorite places in the hotel!).  The wine vault features an award winning collection of wines and champagnes.  Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres in the library where the story of the Astor family was featured.  Everyone’s favorite stop was at the Remede Spa!  Ladies kicked off their high heels and sat to sip on champagne and enjoy a foot massage by the spa technicians–The Remede Spa is not only relaxing but beautifully decorated and calming.  Then it was off to the ballroom where the Fire & Ice theme showcased an amazing pre-function space and gorgeous ballroom.  The pre-function space is wall-to-wall windows overlooking the Deer Crest mountain.  The 3800 square foot deck is a great place for wedding ceremonies, parties and social gatherings.  We are lucky to have this incredible new venue in Park City.

Soirée Productions was invited to design and decorate for this wonderful event.  Our designers worked for three days to create the atmosphere for the grand debut.  Our designers teamed up with the crew at Blakeslee Advertising of Park City and together worked to provide an elegant evening for this black tie affair.  Executive Chef Chip of the J&G Grill prepared a menu to satisfy everyone.  Ed Fraeze of Ice Works created several ice sculptures to display the St. Regis crest and made it functional to allow Chef Chip to keep his sushi fresh.  The table looked tasty and beautiful.  Amanda Hansen of Decorations Inc. provided wonderful floral and her team worked through the day to add the finishing touches.  The evening was a great success and served to benefit the Park City Arts Foundation as well as the Alzheimer’s Association.  Stop by this new luxury property and get spoiled by the amazingly attentive staff!

Emily and Mitch celebrated their wedding day in Park City.  Emily looked gorgeous in her Carmela Sutera gown she purchased at White Couture!  We had so much fun helping Emily find the right gown.  We asked Emily what she liked most about her gown; her response, “It was so different and not quite the typical dress you see everyday.”  At White Couture we pride ourselves in bringing our customers a different look.  Who wants to look like every other bride? When we asked Mitch what he loved about Emily’s dress he said “It is completely Emily and fits her personality.  She was a gorgeous bride!”  Mitch looked great too in his tuxedo.  All of the groomsmen wore a Calvin Klein Radnor tuxedo from White Couture.  Pepper Nix photographed the entire day and captured the personalities that were shining on their wedding day.  Mitch and Emily-thanks for allowing us to assist you both.  Your wedding day was a special one and we are so happy to have been a part of it.

The Golden Groom and the Blushing Bride Signature Cocktails make for a great conversation starter!

The Golden Groom and the Blushing Bride Signature Cocktails make for a great conversation starter!

Are you looking for a way to make a lasting impression without breaking your budget?  Although choosing to host a full bar makes for a great party it can also throw the budget for a loop.  When you are looking for an affordable way to host your bar consider getting creative and offering a signature cocktail or mocktail!  Consider setting up a station with two specialty drinks that consists of the bride and grooms favorites.  Instead of naming these by their true identity, consider renaming them with the name of the bride and the groom.  So her favorite becomes her name and his becomes his name.  Whatever your selection may be it is a great conversation starter, the station always looks great and it provides for a memorable event.

Here are recipes for two of our favorites!
