‘Tis Tuxedo Season!

Wednesday, May 25th, 2011

At Soirée Productions, Prom tuxes are incredibly fun…all the nervous and excitable young men endlessly popping in, all the way up until the morning of Prom to get fitted,(or find out if it is too late to order!).

Although the tuxes we provide are rental and not custom, I feel like a professional at measuring! The guys all looked fabulous and without a doubt, their dates appreciated having such studly gentlemen to escort them.

One of my favorites this year was the very modern and sleek white stand up collar and button-less jacket with a black shirt and pants underneath.  I was pleasantly  surprised at how fantastic this looked on all age ranges.

As we spring forward into our busier part of the year, Wedding Season, we are at it again suiting up men in Wedding parties: Fathers, Grooms, Groomsmen and Ringbearers…

We have an incredibly easy system to get all your men dressed up just right, and ready for their big day. Contact us and we will help you get all your men looking instantly suave!

Glamour and More! | White Couture | Park City

Friday, May 7th, 2010
Last week White Couture was invited to participate in a photo shoot with a few of Utah’s Wedding Vendors.  We packed up a few wedding gowns and our tuxedos and spent the day taking photos of this glamorous look!  This is just the beginning…We have three themes.  The first was an Old Hollywood theme.  Next week we’re going for a Romantic/Vintage theme.  Wait until you see those gowns and props.  And the third theme…we’re keeping it a surprise!  Be sure to check back often because we’ll have those photos to share too thanks to Heather Nan Photography.  Every vendor participating is talented and spending time together to share their work and experience with you.  We hope you enjoy the final product which will launch in June.  Don’t worry, you’ll be invited!  For now, here’s a peak at Old Hollywood.

A Spring Celebration with a Touch of Winter

Some say it can’t be done but the team at Soirée Productions did it!  Although early March in Park City can be winter especially at the beautiful Stein Eriksen Lodge where skiers are in and out, our bride asked us to incorporate the seasons of winter and spring for her wedding day.  It was a gorgeous sunny day but a cool crisp was in the air.  Coats and wraps were definitely a must.  We turned the ballroom at Stein Eriksen Lodge into a scene out of a typical Park City day.  We combined 4 ft tree branches with gorgeous bright floral blooms indicating Spring is right around the corner.  For that touch of Winter, we included hanging icicles from each branch.  The espresso crush silk linens tied it all in.  Our designers also included small leaves on the escort card indicating the trees were beginning to sprout their leaves.  The bridesmaids each wore her favorite black dress and carried gorgeous bouquets of burgundy dahlias prepared by StellaPosy, a favorite flower you’ll find blooming in the Spring.

The ceremony was held at Park City Community Church with amazing views of the mountains.  This ceremony was truly one of my favorites.  The bride recorded a song for the groom which was played during Communion.  The entire congregation participated in the lighting of the Unity Candle.  Starting the light of life in the back of the church, each guest passed the flame to his/her candle then worked it’s way up to the wedding party ending with the maid of honor and best man who then lite the bride and grooms.  Finally, the bride and groom lite the memorial candles on the altar; those were placed to honor family members who had recently passed.  The candle lighting ended with the bride and groom’s unity candle signifying the beginning of one life together.  It was a beautiful touch to this very special day.  Mitch Burt of Zuma Photo captured every moment with his amazing photography and Remember When was there to capture it live allowing them to relive this beautiful day over and over again!  A big thank you to DJ Craig Chambers of Disc Connections for keeping the momentum and fun going strong all night long!  What a great party.

It was a treat to work with our client and provide her with the look she was hoping for.   Spring is a new season where everything has sign of new life.  What better time of year to celebrate wedding nuptials…after all, your wedding day is the beginning of a new life together!

Emily and Mitch celebrated their wedding day in Park City.  Emily looked gorgeous in her Carmela Sutera gown she purchased at White Couture!  We had so much fun helping Emily find the right gown.  We asked Emily what she liked most about her gown; her response, “It was so different and not quite the typical dress you see everyday.”  At White Couture we pride ourselves in bringing our customers a different look.  Who wants to look like every other bride? When we asked Mitch what he loved about Emily’s dress he said “It is completely Emily and fits her personality.  She was a gorgeous bride!”  Mitch looked great too in his tuxedo.  All of the groomsmen wore a Calvin Klein Radnor tuxedo from White Couture.  Pepper Nix photographed the entire day and captured the personalities that were shining on their wedding day.  Mitch and Emily-thanks for allowing us to assist you both.  Your wedding day was a special one and we are so happy to have been a part of it.

I know this is about the men, but take note at the bride's beautiful earrings by Erin Cole purchased at White Couture. Her groom surprised her and shopped with us just before their wedding day. Don't you love romantic men?
