Erin created a look for the modern bride with long strands of pearls and necklaces some with bling and some without.

Erin created a look for the modern bride with long strands of pearls and necklaces some with bling and some without.

They have arrived!  We have unpacked the gorgeous and amazing 2010 collection from Erin Cole Designs.  For the past several years Erin Cole has been awarded Bridal Accessory Designer of the Year.  There are plenty of reasons she can hold on to her title and they are available at White Couture.  Erin keeps us up to date and creates the fashion trend when it comes to bridal accessories.  She offers a variety of veils, hair pins and jewelry.  When I was married thirteen wonderful years ago in Huntington Beach, California I purchased my gown at a bridal studio in Newport Beach where Erin worked as an intern.  Erin never stopped creating her own fashions and had a knack for bridal.  After witnessing so many brides trying to accessorize but unable to find the right look, she decided to market her own designs.  All it took was one Bridal Market in New York and she was a hit.  Now Erin Cole brings you the ability to “complete” your look.  We invite you to view the collection and accessorize yourself with the help from one of the White Couture Stylists.  Every bride looking for accessories is always welcome.  Didn’t buy your gown at White Couture?  No problem.  We are happy to help you and we encourage you to bring your gown so we may help you accessorize it.  We want to be sure to select the right pieces in the right color.   Take a peek at the new collection or come in person and see it for yourself!

Amazing veils; some conservative, others traditional. Erin Cole has them all.

Look at these accessories.  Erin Cole’s collection is sure to win her Bridal Accessory Designer of the Year AGAIN!  Her veils, brooches, earrings and now belts are so perfect for any gown.  She has captured the true meaning of accessories.  All of Erin Cole’s designs are made of the finest swarvorski crystals and sterling silver.  We caught up with Erin at bridal market and went nuts with our ordering.  We got a little bit of everything to show you.  Her chunky necklace is one of my personal favorites.  The look is a good one and adds so much excitement to a bride’s gown.  Recently Erin custom designed a art deco headband for Dominique who purchased her gown and accessories at White Couture.  Dominique’s entire wedding theme was art deco and we saw the headband we new it was the perfect touch.  To top it off, Erin made Dom a cocktail ring and matching cuff.  Her Napa Valley wedding was a hit with all of her Utah friends who traveled for the weekend festivities to celebrate with she and Eric.  Dom looked fabulous.  Erin Cole certainly helped to add the finishing touch to her gown.

Erin Cole made Dominiques headband with a flower and feather for her art deco wedding. She also made her the cocktail ring and cuff with mother of pearl. These pieces completed her look!

My advice to every bride; Don’t settle for what’s on display if it isn’t just perfect.  Ask your bridal stylist for custom opportunities.  Creating your custom accessories won’t add to the price but it certainly adds to your look.  Erin Cole offers many options from her collection but if you don’t see the perfect piece, ask for other options.  You’ll be so surprised and impressed with her customer service.  We are so happy to bring you Erin Cole designs.  Stop by and let us help  you get accessorized.  Bring your gown and shoes even if you purchased it at another bridal salon and we’ll make it complete!

Meet the extraordinary Jane Wang! Her fashion sense is unique, modern, and exquisite.  Known for her mermaids and textures, Jane is not only talented but equally wonderful to work with.  The last time Jane was in Park City every bride who met her purchased her gown.  Jane is talented and kind.  She takes great interest in all of her brides.  She has created custom gowns for our LDS clientele with gorgeous build ups that take them away from the traditional cap sleeve gown you will find at other shops.  She personalizes every gown with a bit of flair only found in Jane Wang designs.  Recently Jane designed a gorgeous gown for our client who is a former Miss Utah.   Our client was specific about the look she was after and after suggesting a few changes here and there, Jane created the gown just the way our client asked.

Jane has become a personal friend.  We brought in Jane’s designs to White Couture to feed our clientele a new look you won’t find anywhere else in Utah.  She has become so much more!  Last year, my family attended the Macy’s parade in New York City.  We spent Thanksgiving day with Jane Wang and her adorable family.  We shopped, saw the sites and ate a lot of M&M’s.  Her daughter Alisha was a hit with my three boys.  They played and explored the city together and had a wonderful time.

Last month when our team of stylists attended New York Bridal Market we visited with Jane and her staff.  Alisha was there too!  This is a family business run by an extraordinary family.  Jane designs and her husband takes care of the marketing efforts.  Alisha gets to comment on each of her mom’s creations.  Although Alisha wasn’t allowed to disturb her mom or the models during the show, I invited Alisha to sit with me and tell me which of her mom’s gowns were her favorites.  At the end of a very long day of runway shows and decision making, Jane joined Christina (White Couture Bridal Stylist), Pepper Nix (peppernixphotography) and myself for dinner at the wonderful David Burke’s townhouse where we ate, and ate, and ate some more.  We finished our fabulous dinner off with cheesecake lollipops and drunken donuts a David Burke exclusive!  I consider Jane a fabulous designer and a personal friend.  If every one of our clients walked out with a custom Jane Wang, I know each would be pleased because of the personal care and attention to detail Jane creates.

Jane Wang began designing in 2006 and her designs can be found in every fashion magazine and at exclusive bridal boutiques around the United States.  White Couture is lucky to have been selected as one of these boutiques.  Be sure to visit our website for updated trunk show dates.  You’ll love taking part in Jane’s show!

Fashion Friday | New York Shopping Spree | White Couture Designer Bridal & Tuxedo

Friday, December 4th, 2009

The team at White Couture wants to share a little bit of our shopping experience in New York.  Each time we go to New York we get to meet with our designers and attend runway show after runway show.  It sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it?  Well it is fun but exhausting at the same time.  We run; literally run from show to show.  We stop for an occasional pretzel from our favorite street vendors and then run to the next visit.  We study the new “look” of the season and determine which of the styles best fit our clientele.  That’s where you come in!  We think of our clients throughout our trip.  We want to be sure to bring you the collections that you’re looking for.  This season we were amazed with the number of ballgowns and modified ballgowns we saw.  Guess what?  Ballgowns are back baby!  Of course I happen to know this makes many of you happy.  We all want to feel like Cinderella but now, well there’s an excuse.  Ballgowns are making the come back we were all hoping for.  Styles come and go with pick ups setting the trend a few years ago, a splash of color in a gown is still popular, and now…ballgowns.  Wait until you start shopping the newest collection.  You’ll love it.  And it isn’t just the designers you would expect to introduce ballgowns.  They are all over the place.

We were lucky enough to travel with our good friend and fabulous photographer Pepper Nix.  She documented much more then runway shows.  So maybe it isn’t so much of a stressful trip but I didn’t lie when I said an exhausting one.  We boarded our flight in Salt Lake City at midnight and landed at JFK at 6:10 am.  We headed straight to the hotel.  Our room wasn’t ready so we made ourselves at home in the bathroom located in the gorgeous lobby of our hotel.  If I remember correctly it had six sinks and Pepper used 3 of them to spread out her luggage and “stuff”.  We “freshened” up and then we were off to our first show at 8:00 am.  Then off to the next at 9:00 am.  We were off again at 10:00 am.  Well we finally made it to show number four and Pepper now had a clear understanding of Bridal Market in New York.  She begged us to stop and rest so we finally agreed to let her rest in the lobby of the Essex Hotel while we attended the show.  After an hour we came back to get Pepper and we found her laying down and sound asleep in the lobby!  LOL! It would have been a great photo but of course she has rigged her camera so only she knows how to operate it.  I hope the description creates the picture for you.  Pepper we had so much fun with you.  We can’t wait for the next market.  Thanks again for traveling with us and documenting the trip.  We hope you had fun.

We invite every current bride, future bride, and friends to stop by and see us at White Couture.  The entire new Fall 2010 collection we just viewed at Bridal Market will be available beginning January 1, 2010.  The designers have guaranteed every piece will be in stores no later then April 30th!  Call us if you’re looking for a particular gown.  We’ll be able to tell you when it will arrive or if you can’t wait, we’ll borrow it from the designer and have it shipped for a private fitting just for you.  See you soon.
