Vendor referrals, online portfolios and all of the contact information you need including links to vendor websites are available. You will benefit greatly and plan an event of any size and budget with these resources. For those of you who are "hands-on," the Soirée studio also opens its doors and offers the public the opportunity to visit the studio and view vendor portfolio's there while asking a Soirée planner for advice and suggestions. This service is complimentary.
Here are some suggestions to plan your event:
- Prepare your budget: Many budget templates are available online.
- Review vendor portfolios.
- Let your vendors know your budget.
- Don't fall in love with an idea that isn't necessary and already in your budget.
- Conduct a menu tasting.
- Prepare a timeline for your event. Include delivery schedules, set-up and strike
- Confirm all vendors and provide them with a copy of your timeline. Be sure it matches the amount of time that you have contracted.

For more planning tips Soirée Productions offers monthly planning classes to help you get started. Take advantage of these types of opportunities and learn from the experts. Topics include setting your tabletop, pairing the right wine, selecting a band for everyone, seasonal floral and more. Classes are open to the public and offered the third Thursday of every month beginning at the Soirée Studio at 6:30 pm. Refreshments are always offered and special door prices are available to the first 25 attendees. Reservations are required and can be made by calling at least 4 days in advance 435.655.2943.
